Making this summit happen!

Bringing in 20+ moderators, speakers and panelists of unquestionable caliber and staging this summit at great venues, and with plenty of state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, does have its price. One that cannot be covered with the registration fees alone.

Indoor Skydiving 2020 | First Global Summit (ISGS) would not be viable as an undertaking without the financial support of partners. They are listed below.

#HelpUsMakeTheSummit is a crowdfunding initiative by the organizers that should help them to offset a possible deficit. Donate through GoFundMe!

2020 | Year of Sports Tourism in Catalonia

Girona Provincial Council | Tourism Board

Walk, ski, run, pedal, play, sail, jump, swim and, above all, experience the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees while doing what visitors like the most. Everything is in place for them to come and enjoy their favorite sports at any time, thanks to a great climate suitable for activities all year round and the most fantastic natural settings that one can imagine, from the high mountains down to the sea. The pinnacle of 2020 is the World Sports Tourism Congress taking place in Lloret de Mar on 28 and 29 May.

Castelló d'Empúries and Empuriabrava

The County Town of Castelló d'Empúries and the adjacent resort community Empuriabrava have separate histories, one dating back to 1079 and the other to 1967. The particular charm of both locations lies not only in the respective beauty but also in the combination as well as the many contrasts between old and new.

Empuriabrava has been certified by the autonomous government as a Sports Tourism Destination in 2003 for its trajectory as a skydiving hotspot of international renown.

Skydive Empuriabrava

The history of Skydive Empuriabrava goes back to 1985. When it opened in October of that year, it was the first full-time skydiving center in Spain. Since then, the center has grown to become one of the top three in the world. To date, over 2 million jumps have been made at Skydive Empuriabrava, in the Land of the Sky.

Over many years, the center championed the cause of parachuting and skydiving as an Olympic sport. In connection with the Games in 1992, it put spectacular exhibitions around Catalonia.

Windoor – Realfly

Come fly at what has to be the friendliest indoor skydiving facility in all of Europe. At Windoor – Realfly everybody can skydive indoors - regardless whether they are a first-timer or a pro. And they can enjoy the great food at The Wind Bar. During the long summer months, "hang ten" at The WaveClub.

From 30 January through 1 February 2020, Windoor – Realfly will host the seventh edition of The Wind Games, certainly one of the year's main events in indoor skydiving.

The Catalan Tourist Board has declared 2020 as the Year of Sports Tourism (YoST). The boards initiative aims to to promote this particular facet of an overall industry that represents 12% of Catalonia's GDP and 14% of its total employment.

Indoor Skydiving 2020 | First Global Summit, with an attendance of maximum 200 attendants, belongs to the smaller gatherings under the YoST banner. Nevertheless, over the years, skydiving has clearly contributed to the region's well-earned reputation as a sports destination. More than 2.5 million skydives by people from all over the world were made since Skydive Empuriabrava opened its doors 35 years ago.
