Sports Business Consultant
Hagen Bossdorf is a German sports business consultant in the areas of strategy development and sports rights marketing. He supports sports federations, leagues, brands and agencies. Among his many clients are the International World Games Association, for which he coordinates global marketing and media.
After studying journalism in Leipzig, he started out as a sports journalist in radio and eventually moved to television. German public broadcaster ARD made him the youngest coordinator for sports in 2002. Working in this capacity for several years, Hagen is credited with bringing Bundesliga football rights back from the private broadcasters, at least temporarily, and with establishing cycling as a high-audience sport in Germany.
After leaving ARD, Hagen worked for the German sports rights agency Sportfive, before launching his own consultancy in Berlin. He is also a lecturer on sports at the Munich Business School.
