Winner of The Wind Games
Born in Luton, England, Josh’s first contact with the world of indoor skydiving dates back to 2009, the year he took a job as a tunnel driver at Bodyflight Bedford . Whenever he wasn’t driving the powerful engines, he began to spend his own time flying in the tunnel. After a few months he was promoted to tunnel instructor. That was when his flying days began in earnest.
Eventually, Josh moved from the tunnel in Bedford to the one in Prague, in the Czech Republic, where he ended up as chief instructor. His competitive career ran parallel to his job and led him to become a top athlete in 2- and 4-Way Dynamic, with plenty of medals from major events (Battle of Bottrop, Bodyflight World Challenge, The Wind Games, Sakura Cup and more) dangling from his neck.
For the past few years, Josh has installed himself semi-permanently in Empuriabrava, Spain, where he works as coach and instructor/examiner for Windoor. As a coaching journeyman he travels the world and passes his wealth of knowhow on to fledgling champions everywhere.
